What are some Earth day facts?

Earth day is tomorrow!!! ANyone have some fatcs on the history of earth day or ways we can go green/save earth

This is the 37th Earth Day. Some very simple things you can do are walk if you can instead of driving. Use a push mower, lawn mowers put out 10 times more co2 than your car. Recycle. Plant a tree or native flowers. Change at least 3 lights bulbs in your home to flourescent. Clean up trash where you see it. But really the best thing is to educate others that everyday is Earth day.
