What is a hyperlink?

What is a hyperlink, it's used in the message boards.?

• It's a button to click on in the Yahoo message boards. Doesn't seem to change anything. Please explain what a hyperlink button does when clicked.

  It will be blue, when you click it,you go directly to that site. On YA.level1 members can't create them..
