  Eating basic things like pasta , in season veggies, beans, and salads I survived as a student with 20 euro a week. I never went out to eat and didn't eat that much meat but I'm still alive, You can't find your own place for less than 500, it's possible to find a studio in the center for between 500-700 or you can move into a room in a shared apartment for less. In the center 300-500 and outside it could be even less. Florence is a safe city, you won't find any areas with much crime. If you go to an internet cafe you'll pay 1-1.50 per hour or you can buy a mobile internet key and pay 30 -40 euro a month or find a shared place that already has it and share with roommates. There are also lots of cafe's that have free wifi
