Hotels in Florence, Italy?

Do not stay at the Hotel Ungherese. The owners were rude to us, and if you take trip advisors advice and stay on the terrace, you would be glad to know that you have to shower over the toilet. Yes, there is no separate shower. They fail to tell you this when you go to the hotel's website. I was extremely disappointed, especially with all of the good reviews I read about it.

I am not sure when you are planning to go there. But May and September is busy time in florence. Hotels Rates also relatively high. Do a search on www.tripadviser.com - nearly every hotel in the world is listed with comments by people who have stayed there. Really good - I use it every time I travel.

i know which to avoid... spent 2 days in firenze..... stayed in a hotel very close to the station... what a dump... avoid these have a good time beautiful city also with pisa a short train ride away.. the only thing that drove me nuts was everytime you sat down at a restaurant or a bar someone would leap out of nowhere playing a violin and asking for money....
