What do you think about Bari, Italy?

  • it isn't as popular as other places like rome or milan, but for me it's a nice city! have you ever been there? what do you think about it? sorry for my bad english :)

    I went to public school there -- one light bulb in a class of 40 with nothing else. It is a very poor city with few attractions that are safe to visit at least, but the surrounding country is interesting. The South of Italy is fascinating but can be dangerous, So either speak Italian or go with an Italian and stay in Bari if you have to.

I've been there for a very short time but I thought it was the ugliest city I had seen. It is also a very insecure place, high crime rate. Probably I did not see the better part of it... I don't know... For sure there are better places in Italy.
