Looking for a hotel in Venice.

I'm looking for a cheap close to the city center hotel in Venice, Italy, any suggestions?

Minerva is not a bad option for the price. We used Expedia.co.uk to find a hotel in Venice. We stayed on the island of Murano which was only a water bus ride away in a hotel called Locanda Conterie. Lovely city to visit and seeing how they use boats to do EVERYTHING was quite interesting!
