How many days do i need to visit Venice, if I want to see the most important tourist attractions?

There are cool things to see there, but i would say if you're not going with a special lady friend don't give it any more than a day and a half. check out san marco, and wander around a bit, hop on the water bus and just ride it all the way around its loop, grap some seafood (don't cheap out on this, you'll regret it) and be on your way. there is much cooler stuff to see in the region. if you are with that special lady, give it a bit more time you'll want to do the way over priced gondolla ride thing and have a romantical dinner etc... take the water bus out to the island of murano, where all the glass blowing shops are. bring you wallet she'll want to buy lots of crap! the island of lido has some decent hotels that are relativly cheap compared to the main island. don't feed the pidgeons in san marco!!!! watch out for high tide, don't fall in that water is nasty, trust me i know from experience!

1 or 2 days tops. I wasn't impressed with Venice at all. It's VERY dirty and VERY smelly.

I go about 1 to 2 weeks Visit Bari its where I'm from!!!!!!!

The biggest stuff can be seen in a day, but you'll feel absolutely gutted when you get on the train to leave. Two days would probably be much better. Not more than three or you'll run out of things to do.

I was there for two days and saw all the major "must see" attractions, however, I would not want to spend less than a week there. Sooooo much to explore- nooks and crannies off every alleyway!

Two weeks, just because who wants to go back to the real lfe after that!
