What do I need in order to move to Germany ?

Currently living in the UK and I fancied a change of scenery, but I don't know much about the rules/regs about moving abroad. Visa's etc. I'd greatly appreciate some ...show more

Visa needed if you wish to work, so contact the nearest German embassy or consulate (addresses on the web). You should also be quite fluent in German and have a special sort of training (math teacher, doctor....)

Marry a German citizen !!!

If you are a EU citizen simply go there. You will have to register with the local Einwohner Meldeamt of whatever town you move to. Not sure if you also have to furnish proof that you can support yourself as far as work and money. You will also need a work permit to get a job and that just might be a problem. Your best bet would be check with the nearest German Embassy and ask them.
