Whats the weather like in Germany near Christmas?

It's winter, temperature can be below 0 Celsius, snow or rain. Bring warm clothing: warm jacket or coat, pullover, warm shoes or boots and wool socks or pantyhose, gloves, winter cap/ hat, scarf, etc. if you plan to take a walk outdoor or want to go sightseeing in the city or visit a typical Christmas market (I know there is one in Cologne, don't miss it!).
