Munich. Most Beautifull city and its subway/Tram system will take you anywhere you want. You wont need a car. Weather is not bad considering its close to the Alps. Winters are mild compared to some cities in North America like Chicago and Toronto. Summers are hot but the cool effect from the Alps always helps out. The food and shops in Munich are unbeateable and the city is very clean!

I would have to say: Munich and Rottenburg

Depends your age, most cities in NRW state are very good.(bonn, dusseldorf, cologne) if ur young n dynamic or a family guy COLOGNE IS THE BEST. city is not so huge at the same time not so small. plenty of cosmopolitan population and more important people are very friendly to foreigners. cost of living is not as high as berlin frankfurt or munich. cologne is wonderful

Hamburg! I love the old hanseatic houses, the parks, the water and the ships. And in Hamburg there is the best "party mile" of the world - the Reeperbahn at St. Pauli.
