Hi I am traveling from India to Germany through Frankfurt. If I have a German visa, do I need transit visa?

No. You could even fly through Amsterdam or Rome, through what is nowadays known as the Eropean Union or the Schengen zone. Your passport will be checked once you enter the EU; just make sure you walk through the gate that says "non-EU citizens", and you should be fine.

What a stupid question is that? Frankfurt is in germany and if you have a german visa then what´s the problem ? and why you need a transit visa again for the same country ? just look in the world or european political map before posting these kind of stupid questions.
