What kind of pants are best in a cold Germany's weather during Christmas time?

Everyone here wears jeans and long, warm parkas or those puffy michelin-man kind of long winter jackets on top. If you are staying in a city e.g. Berlin - it does not get as cold as in the rural/mountainous regions. If you are a girl, think about wearing stockings underneath your jeans - keeps out the cold really well. You will probably be spending a lot of your time in doors, so don't worry too much about the cold.

Wear pants made of wool for the best ability to keep out cold. Corduroy is also good. Get the pants a litle 'baggy to help keep body heat in.

Definitely no shorts! Germany is very cold during this time of year, so wear warm pants - but Germans wear jeans, just like everyone else, they are used to the weather.

Wear "Lange warme Unterhosen" - (long warm therma unterpants) Then you can wear any other kind of pants on top.

Warm ones with little bells for extra holiday spirit!! always leave the door open!
