What size trucks should i get for my skateboard?

  • im getting a 7.75 girl skateboard i have a shoe size of 10 but im wondering what size trucks i should get or is 7.75 a bad size for me>?

    Shoe size doesn't matter. Its the size of the deck Here's a scale of deck-truck size. 7.75" Axle / 5.0" Hanger (129mm) - 7.25” to 8" deck width 8.0" Axle / 5.25" Hanger (139mm) - 8” to 8.5" deck width 8.5" Axle / 5.75" Hanger (149mm) - 8.5” to 9" deck width 9.0" Axle / 6.5" Hanger (169mm) - 9” to 10” deck width 10.0" Axle / 8.5" Hanger (215mm) - 10” and above deck width In your case, you would want 7.75" Axle / 5.0" Hanger (129mm), but its usually just called 5.0

shoe size doesnt matter when getting decks or trucks... now that's out of the way... if you have a 7.75 deck then you want 7.75 trucks or one size down... never get trucks that are bigger then your deck... also know this having trucks a size smaller than your deck will make fliping the deck easier but make the landing a little more unstable... and you should get indy's or ventures. also check out the skate vids from my friends youtube page he's pretty sick.. check out his other vids and subscribe if you like... http://www.youtube.com/user/zach01313 ... and if you ever need trick tips you can message him...after subing...

your trucks should be equal to the size of the board that way when primo it doesn't lean one way or the other i am size 11 and i preferred a 7.63 size board but its all personal preference
