Can you use a visa gift card to shop online i wanted to buy something i cant find any where so i was thinking ?

You can use a Visa gift card online to shop BUT beware ! The card must be activated first. You have to go to the website on the card. If it is not activated it will not work online. Another warning from my experience. If you use the card at any online store or even ebay it will only work at that store until the money runs out. If you buy another card and want to use it at that store it will not work because the store reads it like a credit card. To use another card at the same store you must use another name. A lot of mess. I got sick of using these cards and got a green dot card. Good Luck.
