Let me suggest that the reason it costs so much in Australia is that the places that sell don't get free shipping and you are way far away from where it is made, so why would you get free shipping? Polymer clay is the most expensive clay of the various types and other than getting a friend in a foreign country to buy it when it goes on sale (say $2 instead of $2.49 for 2 oz) and ships it cheap and really slow.
