    How things change. When I was 14, I didn't really need money that badly. I got a modest allowance from my parents and worked a paper round. That brought in more than I needed at any given time, given that I wasn't paying rent, taxes, or for food and other necessities. Anyway. This isn't social studies 101. Viewed at the original size on Flickr, the first thing I noticed about your pictures is that they are of very low quality, technically speaking. They are blurry in some places, and show considerable amounts of noise. This in itself would preclude them from being used as stock photographs. Artistically they are nothing special either, with the exception of the shot on the bridge (this one: http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/117728483@N07/12557888474/sizes/o/ which shows some signs of originality. Again though, the background is noticeably noisy at full size. The rest of the pictures are exceptionally ordinary at best. Also, you have to look at this from a bigger overall perspective. There are reasons that society generally does not encourage 14 year olds to try and make money. One is that most 14 year olds (and this would include me when I was that age) think they know an awful lot more than they actually do. Another is that most really excellent photographers have been shooting longer than you have even been alive, and their photos reflect this fact. And yet another is that most 14 year olds do not have a significant talent to display. Those who do are known as prodigies, and they do exist, but they are massive minority. The answer which suggested that you try weddings is delusional. Even as a backup shooter you will currently have absolutely no idea what you are doing if you were to try. I would forget about making money until you are way better at photography. Of course you are welcome to tell me that I'm wrong and that you're gonna "follow your dreeeeems" because photography is your "passion", but even great photographers are finding it tough to make a living these days. Put more time into improving and less time into obsessing over money. There is more to life than money.

Let's just get right to the point, and I am basically repeating Deep Blue. Nothing about HOW to sell your photos really matters, because they simply are not anything people will buy. Poor quality, little interest, no "vision" of concept or meaning. Stop trying to put the cart before the horse. Spend your younger years now perfecting your craft. I will say i think you show promise, but you are not there yet as far as thinking you have work that is marketable. steve

Weddings. Although my brother isn't a teenager (and definitely not a professional photographer), he gets gigs like going to weddings and filming/ taking pictures. Maybe try relatives or people you know, they usually have professionals doing the formal photos of the bride and groom but they sometimes need like a background person behind the scenes snapping all the relatives and such. Get in line behind all the possibly millions of others, some with real talent, who are hoping to do the same thing. Your shots are not good enough for stock. You do not have anywhere near the equipment, knowledge, or skill to shoot weddings or any other type of one-off event. You might try framing a few of your very best and try to hang in local shops. You might try shooting friends or pets for a few dollars. I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer, but it can be hard for good photographers to make much money from their work, and a novice with beginner level work that anyone could shoot for themselves has practically no chance.

Quite nice photos but I really doubt you could sell any to make money. There are literally millions of photos available for sale these days and for any to sell, they will have to be outstanding. You could try sending some to relevant magazines (Nature, Home and Garden, Wildlife) and see if they would buy any.

just a short note. you can conduct business or sign contracts only with parental permission. which means they would do the signing.

Until you are an adult (18 in the states), you cannot conduct business, nor can you sign contracts. My son was able to make prints and hang them in coffee shops and other high traffic stores and was able to make a few dollars if they sold. "Art walks"have become popular and you can approach some of the galleries with your work and see if they will hang them. At 14, you are not in a good position to make money from much more than mowing lawns, having a paper route, snow removal and as an apprentice garderer

Hey hunny. Im glad to know that someone at your age is trying to get their dreams set into action. While you can not get a buisness license, you can still earn a bit of money doing these things through a few little things. I sold 4 paintings by the age of 16. Im sure these beautiful images could make you a bit of pocket change. 1) Deviant Art ~ While deviant art isnt the best one for you to choose, you can easily set up magnets mug and such things that would be available to sell along with prints. You do not make the items. You simply submit the art work and go through to let them sell your artwork. It doesnt make much and you can only spend the money on the site.. but it is the simplest way I have seen. 2) Listia ~ Listia is not a cash site as much as points. You run off your photographs and then send them to people around the world and they give you points, sortof like ebay but you dont get the cash. These points can be put tword gift cards, clothing, jewelry, anything really. Its extremely easy to use. 3) Ebay ~ NOT recommended. This is a horrible way to do it because you could loose more money in shipment then you get for the photos. Very annoying. 4) Classifieds-Craigslist ~ Prom season is coming up and so is spring. A lot of people will pay for you to take their pictures. This might cost you a little but will definitely pay off. Get yourself a nice portfolio together and put in the paper that you are an amateur photographer looking to take pictures for weddings and prom. Note that you will have to do what THEY wish.. which isnt always the best... If you put everything into your images you wont be asked to come back again, make changes yourself and keep things the way they want to, and they can pay you for both XD Be very careful and take an adult with you to these events. All togather there are a lot of things you can do, but know that some of it WILL cost you money, gotta spend to make. Dont listen to people who say your silly or anything, just follow your dreams and everything will work out if you work hard and keep your eyes in the now.
