What was the Beer Hall or Munich Putsch?

What beer hall, garden, or brewery should I visit in Munich?

• I am going back to Munich in January. I have already been to Hofbrauhaus and I want to try some other places. Any recommendations?

  You should check out the Nockherberg, which is the Beergarten/ Beer hall of the Paulaner brewery. Unlike the Hofbräuhaus, people from Bavaria actually go to there. It is also the place, where the "Starkbierzeit" is initiated, which is a time in March when you traditionally fast and drink strong beer. The other breweries have similar establishments all over Munich. Unfortunatly there are no beer gardens opened in January, you'd have to come back in June...
