Be prepared for "sticker shock"-- Mexico has a very low cost of living while France has a very high cost of living. The comments about non-EU citizens not being able to work in France are correct. OTOH, I heard on CBS radio that some EU countries are easing restrictions if you have specific work skills-- pharmacist in the Netherlands (but you must speak Dutch) or karate teacher in Spain . Strange, huh?

My sister in law yes, but her french was already pretty good when she made the move with my brother (who is a french citizen as I am)
