Surrealism art painting?

You can turn something very simple into a masterpieces!!!Do alot of research. I would recommend you looking through several art movements and artistic styles: minimalism, abstract late 20's , Kandinsky, Contemporary Design , Italian Minimalism, French minimalist from 21 century. Chose something simple but use complicated application, like may dual perspective. Hope this help .

first choose an object! example and umbrella then what you have to do is , PUT THE OBJECT YOU HAVE IN AN UNUSUAL CONTEXT. example flying umbrellas, or an umbrella fossilized in a wall......dont copy surrealist painting as it becomes a bit boring due to unoriginality

Do a painting of every day objects in your home,but blow them up out of proportion, make them oblong or fatter then what they should be, or square when they should be round Example a teapot is generally round ,make it square. A fork is generally long and narrow make it fat and short. There are lots of thing s you can think of. Good luck

Look at work by Rene Magritte. He did a lot of work with paradox: an apple large enough to fill a room, a pipe with the line "this is not a pipe" below it, or a broken window showing the sky captured in the shattered fragments of glass.

Droopy clocks, the ones that look like they are melting. I think those are quite famous in the movement.
