u can goto Disney via MTR (our tube) easily. so u may just pick a hotel rite next to some MTR stations. tourist's hotspot wil be Tsim Sha Tsui. shopping, dining, the harbour....MTR....everything. so maybe u sh pick a hotel there. there's 1 nearby the MTR = 3 stars. they just renew themselves....so even 3 stars no bad. http://www.imperialhotel.com.hk/ below = the MTR route.... if u r fr TST....MTR to Lai King & shift a train towards Tung Chung direction. at the Sunny Bay station....shift a Mickey train to the park. http://www.mtr.com.hk/eng/train/system_map.html actually Disney is in the Tung Chung (Lantau) area. there's 3 hotels inside Tung Chung. the Regal Airport (which not v gd / n rite next to the airport), the Marriott Skycity & the Novotel Citygate. among all 3.... Novotel = the most convenient as it's linked w/ an outlet mall. which u can shop crazily + cheaply.... http://www.citygateoutlets.com.hk/home/Pages/home.aspx both Novotel & Skycity = 4 stars......Skycity is opp. to a golf course. kinda new & nice. had free shuttles send u to the Citygate for shopping. anyway, if u aim to visit Disney....dun stay at a hotel on HK side. Hi, If budget is the concern here, I'd suggest the Novotel Citygate. Located in Tung Chung area, its just about 5 minutes via cab to the HK International Airport and within walking distance to the MRT station.
