How to start selling my art?

since you are not looking at the bottom end like ebay, as the others have mentioned.....people(artists) who are "advanced" understand the process. since you clearly do not know the process, you are naive in fact, you're far away from any kind of professionalism. you don't sell your work to a gallery. a gallery decides if you're good enough to represent. they take you on as a risk, try to sell your art and you get a %. you show your work to galleries in person, with hi-res images, or enter shows. galleries do their own searching for artists and generally are satisfied with whom they represent. they go to certain competition shows or other galleries. they don't look for amateurs like they're strolling through the park. if they're a decent gallery that does decent business, they don't have time to review every new artist who walks through their door. they don't have that kind of time to waste. they go through pics sent to then like i browse through people magazine when i'm in the bathroom. they have their specific routines. higher end galleries have higher end routines. low end new galleries try to pull any artist they can just to fill their stable. there is no such thing as undiscovered talent. if you are good you will be noticed. so open art competitions/shows is your best bet.
