I need ideas for my concentration pieces that go into my portfolio for an art school..does anyone have ideas?

A class at my school did drawings of themselves in the womb, then current self portraits, then themselves as seniors. It was pretty interesting.

do a collage with certain themes. like a do a picture collage, a painting collage, and put anything in a collage. You could do self-portrait of young to old, like generations from your dad, mom, and then you. I can't think of anymore...good luck!

does it matter the form?if not,use a simple projector with pictures of nature changing,like leaves falling,changing colors and in the back play the music(actually noise)which you can tape on any simple device you have,like cars running,sound of wind blowing and make the whole project as a VJ:)(it totally works)or,just use the computer,as a slide show. other thing you can do is murals,perceived images of an urban era which you can express on panels who are supposed to be walls and then give a critical remark on the role of society vs. the development of self consciousness(black,red and white are the colors). How about three generations? Grandfather, son, and grandson. Or how about three seasons? Winter, summer, fall, and extra credit for spring. Or do all four and pick the three you like best. Or three generations of car styles. Model T, a VW bug, and a Lexus. Have fun!

This may sound crazy but here goes: Do a theme where it says CLOSED MIND I'm not sure how you can do it but --- you will need something that resembles a HUMAN HEAD. maybe play dough This is NOT a quickie project. Put something in both ears so they look shut off, Put something in the nose to plug it up, put something in the mouth or sew it up. Put something over the eyes so block them out. You could use a cork for the ears or nose, The idea is to represent a CLOSED MINDED person.
