Are there free museums in Berlin?
-
Are there free museums in Berlin or other touristic attractions completely free of charge, like gothic churches or botanic museums? Thank you
-
Answer:
Churches are always free of charge, as catholicism requires that; but they may be closed due to acts of vandalism that have happened. There are no "botanic museums", but there is a botanical garden in Berlin which I highly recommend. It's not completely free of charge, but their greenhouses are really, really great. And not only them; I spent a whole day there walking the whole area, and just couldn't see enough. Most people only walk the greenhouses and then leave, but there's a lot more to discover.
