Um no. Berlin is one of the worst places to live...unless you really like sex, drug, and crime.....then I guess it would be a pretty good place to be.

If you have money and you can support yourself without working, give it a go. Otherwise, chances to find a job are very very very few.

It is definitely a good place to visit because of its unique history, so if you're a tourist, good for you because it's worth visiting. But if you're looking to stay there long term, I think the others have given you some answers already.
