dear friends myself ashfaq ..i secured gate score of 807 in gate 2015 ..see what i am going to suggest for 2017 aspirants is.. try to start the preparation from now onwards ..atleast 10 hours per week and try to go for coaching institution on weekends .even i joined  VANI INSTITUTE while i was in final year . there they will teach from the basics ..and  the concepts what exactly they are teaching is really helpful,,while we are solving the objective type questions ..moreover gate exam requires more practise ,so that what exactly they are conducting the exams are more needful.what i observed is while attending classroom coaching we can measure ourselves where exactly we stand ..so instead of doing self preparation ,the class room coaching is more helpful .and moreover nowadays the competetion is also high ,so try to start the preparation immediately,why because  per day the number of hours ,we can not increase,,so  kindly increase the  number of days for preparation. in bangalore ,,VANI INSTITUTE  is the best  place to succeed . even the management are more care taking in all aspects . all the best for gate 2017 aspirants
