    Use the ATM if you find out you have nt brought enough but you shoul be Ok with your spending allowance.I lived in HK for 17 years and never saw any trouble. The Triads only bother the locals not tourists Try the local markets and have a great time , its a wonderful city!

Don't bring too much or you might get robbed without you knowing it. There are plenty of Chinese triads in Hong Kong. It's fine to bring slightly more than what you might spend there.
