Is there a termite problem in the loire valley France?
-
as I know there is a problem in the south of France
-
Answer:
Much of the Western half of France has a termite problem, and I think this includes the Loire Valley. If you're thinking of buying a property in a termite-infested area, the vendor must, by law and before selling, have the property checked for termites and provide a 'termite-free' certificate. Real estate agents will know if the area is a high-risk one.

Yes there is. No matter where you are in the Loire Valley, complete strangers walk up to you and ask if there is a termite problem. Maybe they are trying to strike up polite conversation, maybe they are hitting on you or maybe they want to score dope. I just wish they would go somewhere else.
