I have 9 days free around NICE, france, I need to end up in Paris last day. What can I do?

definatly do monaco, it is a unique and beautiful place and is worth a day trip from nice, unfortunatly there are no direct trains from nice to switzerland so you would have to change at marseille in france or milan in italy and it is a very long journey that would take most of the day. if you can hire a car and explore the stunning mountains and coastal roads around the city and if you cant hire a car then you can take a ride on the beautiful coastal railway and see places like cannes and some of the gorgeous towns over the border in italy. you could go to paris earlier as there is of course plenty to do around paris, not just the tour effil and the louvre. there are some nice towns around paris worth visiting like chartres with its wonderful cathedral and old streets and the palace of versailles.
