What are high schools in France?

What are the main schools in France?

  • Just...out of curiosity. Like Junior High schools to be more specific.

  • Answer:

Junior High schools are split in two parts in France: Collège: 11 to 15 years old Lycée: 15 to 18 years old In France we go the other way around, you count from 1 to whatever, we count from from 12th (3 to 5 years old) to 1st at 16-17 then to terminale (literally, 'the last one') where we have the big exam baccalauréat before going to university, what you call college.
