How can I get from Nice, France to Monaco?

I am traveling from Spain into Nice, France and am unsure of what mode of transportation is best in order to get from Nice to Monaco and back.

Nice is very close to Monaco - Depending on what part of the city, it is only about 10 to 12 miles distant (16 - 19 kms) There are many different services - Buses - taxis - tours - Very easy and very frequent. Taxi would be about 35 to 50 euros one way or less than 10 euros per person in a van.

Take the train toward ventimille. It only takes 30 minutes.

Train, definitely. Apart from anything else you'll be able to watch the views over the sea more easily than if you were driving. Plus, that stretch of road is extremely busy. Not fun.
