    I agree with Jean-Michel, and like Elliot I live in Paris where there's a big Muslim population. Women can wear whatever they want, what they are not allowed is to enter a public building with their face hidden because that new laws forbid ANYONE to enter a public building with his or her face hidden. If that means taking off that burqa then so be it. Just to make a point, a few months back two women wearing a burqa entered a bank and whipped out guns. It appeared that they were neither women nor good muslims. What happens the next time a 'good muslim woman' enters the highest court of Justice of France wearing a burqa and blows himself up? As well: In the name of religion sexual mutilation of women is done in Africa, very often by other women who know nothing else, this is forbidden in France. That is wrong. You have the right to practice your religion within the limits defined by the law, not beyond, whether you like it or not.

Agree with Jean-Michel, and his common sense as usual. a big part of them hate the 4 mt of black fabric around them. they're forced to wear it. why not let them free? i'm sure the moment islamic government is gone, many ppl will will go to the streets covering a little part of their bodies in Iran.
