I saw and advertisement recently for students/young people to work with one of the ready-erected camping companies. Perhaps you could look at the websites of (for example) Canvas Holidays or Eurocamp, etc. and look to see if they are looking for reps for their sites in France. Reps get free accommodation (in tents) and are paid and most of their work involves preparing for and clearing up after families who are renting tents or mobile homes. My experience of French camping tells me that most of the clients are English while some may be Dutch (who speak English) and some German. The reps I have seen at sites all over France always seem to have a fun time as well as having to work hard.
