Can I take frozen green chile to France from US? It is grown best in New Mexico USA.?

I am moving to France in a couple of months, and I don't think I can live with out my green chile. What are produce restrictions in France?
-
Answer:
I doubt if you'll be allowed to bring green chiles into France due to EU regulations. But even if you could, how are you going to keep them frozen during the flight? France has a high immigrant population and most ethnic foods are available there. I'm sure you'll find green chilies somewhere.

look on the French Customs Website (DGDDI) http://www.douane.gouv.fr/menu.asp?id=498 they would tell you about whether you can bring in your chilli plant. Or you could ring the French Embassy for more information about it. They probably might have it in markets in France as well perhaps.
