  I bow to the superior knowledge of Tin who obviously knows the ins and outs of the fashion world much better than I do, but I do wish this petty and vindictive smear campaign came to an end. I did not ask for any "help". It all comes down to people's interpretation of terms, and even the website given by Tin herself as reference uses the word "ticket" which, in America, describes any card or piece of paper that entitles the bearer to the right of admission, whether paid for or not. http://www.ehow.com/how_4525123_get-invited-nyc-fashion-week.html Making venomous remarks about other people's contributions is not in my line and if I see that another contributor has given a very good answer because they saw the question before me, I abstain from answering or repeating the same material as I feel it is unjust to steal their thunder. Nor would I stoop out of pettiness, disappointment, resentment, or jealousy to giving thumbs down to a person who has given a good answer to a question just because I have taken a dislike to their profile or their avatar, or because they irritate me. I would not dream of calling someone a "troll" when clearly they give serious answers, however much I disagreed with their point of view. This is an open forum but the Yahoo rules are quite clear: one should be "courteous" and insults and rants are forbidden. Blackening someone else by defamation does no favours to slanderers either and reflects badly on their own character. Answers is a pastime, not a war zone. Pax!
