What are the "Posh" areas in Paris?

What areas in Paris are good to stay in if we want to travel by train to Eurodisney?

  • We want to stay in paris and travel by train to Euro-disney during the day, what areas are close to train stations that go there, and, what time do the trains run until at night?

  • Answer:

I agree. The RER stations are quite clear on those maps you get with your catchets you buy. Stay in the Latin Quarter. A great place near Notre Dame. an RER is near there too.

Eurodisney is accessible on the RER A line. You don't need to be near one of the regular train stations - just near one of the stops on the RER A line. There are several within the city of Paris. The RER lines run seven days a week from 4:45am to 1:30am. My advice would be to look for a hotel near Chatelet-Les Halles. It's centrally located. In addition to being a stop on the RER A line, several Metro (that's the local subway) lines stop there so it is easy to get all over Paris. Several major points of interest will also be within walking distance, including Notre Dame and The Louvre. Feel free to e-mail me if you have other questions.

The Shadow

anywhere really that is near an RER as that is the line that will take you direct to Eurodisney. Inquire at the hotel you choose that they are near the train station - you can go to the metro and then change to the RER to go to eurodisney. There are signs everywhere and it is on the train map, too. It is about 45-50 minutes from Paris to Eurodisney but a pleasant ride.
