Shopping in paris?

  • guys i'm going to paris in 2 weeks. can anyone tell me if i can find mary - janes at the laffayete galeries? or you can give me ideas of shopping centers in paris :D thanks

    Contrary to the first answer, paris has huge number of shopping malls... My favorite is "Forum Les Halles" near Chatelet/Les Halles metro. It's big and has some great stores (but no Mary Janes that I know of). Another is "Bercy Village" near metro Cour Saint Emilion (line 14). This is a fun place to go (many shops, restaurants, and movie theatres). Of course Printemp and Galerie Lafayette are well known (near Rue Rivoli) but also check out BHV! it's a huge store with tons of stuff... And there's always Rue Montaigne where all the exclusive shops are located (the big designers all have shops on Rue Montaigne).

Hi, I don't know if you can find "Mary Jane" in Galeries La Fayette, that I know, when I am in France, i buy my shoes "Mary Jane" on the web : Taylorshoes.com, cheaper than in Paris, in the Mall : Chatelet les Halles it's possible, ideas of shopping, plenty, depends of your budget, if your budget is very large, Avenue Montaigne is very well, like 5th Ae in NYC, Chanel, Prada, Dior, Armani, Ungaro, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Cartier etc.. Welcome in Paris !
