One thing you may want to consider is that usually, the cheaper ones are either farther away from the center or they're of less quality. Sometimes you might be better off paying a couple bucks extra to stay in a more centrally located spot where you wouldn't have to take the metro, as opposed to staying in the outskirts and having to pay for every trip.
