Cool summer fundraising ideas?

We are taking a group of 27 French students to Rome & Paris next Summer. Any one have any fundraising ideas?

    Sounds like a lot of fun...I travel with my university's French Dept each Spring Break...the kids are going to have a lot of fun... I know Avon does fund-raisers. There have been a few in my area that have been very successful. You could always have a bake sale. There are companies out there where you can sell candy, Toblerone bars, etc. I had entertained the idea of selling calendars.

you could host a silent auction with donated items; car wash; ask local companies if they'd be willing to sponsor your group; how about getting the local church to help in exchange for some community service; sell baked goods

Last year, I had to raise money to go to Europe. I made about $500 selling suckers from the website www.ozarkdelight.com. All I did was sell suckers at my school and a bingo hall once a wee for $0.50 a piece. Good luck! And have fun, Rome and Paris are wonderful cities.
