Places to visit in Paris? shops/restaurants etc.?

So i know this doesnt quite answer your question but i think you should go to Montmartre. Its the highest point in paris and is soo beautiful! It is exactly what you think of france with painters and performers and good food! Plus the view is absolutly amazing! There are tons of little shops with good priced things. When i was there i think i got like 15 scarfs lol. In that little town there are a lot of restaurants that have been in movies including the french famous, Amélie. I went to Paris for 21 days (lucky me) and montmarte was my favorite! You shouldn't miss the chance to go there!

Wander around the Marais section right next to Place de Bastille. It's full of lovely quaint streets and shops. Visit St. Paul's church. Go to the Picasso museum! Go straight down Rue de Rivoli to the Louvre! Go north to the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery and the Canal Saint-Martin. And definitely spend some time in Place des Voges. The Musée Carnavalet is also there: a museum of the history of Paris itself. There's also a big opera house there, but they are a bit expensive in Paris. Get a pack of 10 Metro tickets for a little under 12 Euros and you can go just about anywhere in the city! Have a piece of luxurious chocholate at Jadis et Gourmande in 39, rue des Archives. For restaurants: 1) Le dome du Marais in 53, rue Francs-Bourgeois ; 2) Chez Julien, a bistro at 1,rue du Pont Louis-Philippe 3) Or take your chance in any place that's attractive to you. Stick to the prie fix meals -- a set meal for a cheaper price that day -- and you won't have a bad meal! (I've only had 1 so-so meal in Paris over the course of many months.)
