What should I wear to school in Paris?

    no uniform in schools but you cant exactly wear what you want. when i was at school (im french by the way) anything was allowed really as long as its appropriate. so jeans and all that are welcome however no tiny skirts or revealing cloths! also it depends what impression you want to give, so i would not wear sporty cloths too often. make sure you change every day though coz girl can be quite judgmental about fashion. i was a geek at school, it wasnt nice every day for me!

you CAN and should wear your everyday stuff. They wear jeans, and regular shirts and sweater. I know people have the perception that the French are chic, etc. But, not really that different from the the rest of Europe. Sandals and flip-flops are NOT practical in Paris. Regular shoes are just fine. And you can have a back pack for school. that is all you need. you will see the people wear the same things in France that they do in the UK. But I don't think kids wear uniforms to school. Jeans are their uniforms!

If you go to a private school, they generally wear a uniform. I would watch out to see what the kids wear when you arrive, to see what will fit in.
