My husband and I have a 14 hour lay over in Paris and would love to see some of the sights but we don't arrive until 9 pm and leave in the morning. We would love some suggestions ...show more

Answer:
If 9 pm is landing time that means around 10 - 10.30 pm in Paris which means a bit late for a good dinner at the Ciel de Paris, with the best view in Paris at the top of the only skyscraper in the city. I would say you can go to Montmartre and enjoy the view there as well, it is a touristy area but can be quite enjoyable. It is too late for a boat trip as well. Another late night place is the St Michel area, with the Greek restaurants (roll eyes) and Notre Dame and a stroll along the river Seine. Take a taxi to the Trocadero, in front of the Eiffel Tower right across the Seine and walk down the the Eiffel Tower. Those are just a few ideas.

Hello there! Well there really is not much you can do in france at just a night, but with such little time i suggest you do this: First have a nice dinner at a fine french restaurant and then go on a river cruise on the seine river (the main river in the centre of paris). If you want you could actually get dinner on the cruise if you go on the cruise that has dinner with it. That should show you most of all the main sights of paris on a boat. You will see things from notre dame to the Eiffel tower from a boat! Also if you want to see more of the inland sights too, you could go on a bus tour instead of a boat cruise tour. Then i suggest you go to the Eiffel tower, i think it is open late enough for you to see paris from the sky and or have a walk around paris. Then have a nice sleep in your hotel, wake up early and get a nice true french breakfast at a cafe and get some tourist souvenirs from some shops (if you can find any open then, if not buy some from the airport). Hope i have helped, if you need more help just ask, ok!
Woooppppp
I'm not exactly a Parisian but i just came back from paris from visiting my uncle who is a student there and he lives around le marais which is like non stop party area or near it is the sight of hotel de ville and if you walk a bit further from hotel de ville you would meet the notre dame church my dad says its beautiful but i didnt go there the last time. But you could also try montmartre.

Well if it's soon, you will be very cold...You can spend the night on a nightclub, you can take a bike and ride in the city to visit, or just walk along the Seine.
