What are good things to do in August outside Paris?

One day I want to go to Paris. Other than the Eiffel Tower and art museums, what are good things to do...?

    Go to that famous graveyard and see all the interesting people buried there - freaking cool. I like visiting old churches - the St.Sulpice, Sacre Coueur and Montmarte and gorgeous Walk around and just enjoy the scenery - my favorite place is the Rue Cler Take a little boat ride down the seine at night to enjoy the Paris lights! Go shopping - lots of fun little shops off of the Champs Elyse. Climb to the top of the Arc De Triomphe and enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower Go to Versailles and rent a golf cart and get around fast and see all the gardens!
