Hotels in Paris that will allow a 16 and 17 year old to stay alone?

For insurance reasons, hotels won't let underage people stay without someone over 18 with them.

I'm afraid it's just not possible. Any place that would (illegally) allow underaged people to stay on their own would not be a safe place.

As others have stated maybe there is a chance of finding a hostel that would allows a group of those under 18 with parental consent. However no legitimate hotel will allow a minor to register. It is not the hotel. It is the law. And among other problems IF a minor uses the room for something illegal or damages or steals an item, there is practically no way the hotel can collect legally damages. Just wait a few months until the 19th birthday.

Hotels will not accept any underage person without an adult to take responsability. Especially not two of them. I believe that there is one youth hostel which accepts minors, Auberges en France. I don't know if they have hostels in Paris, you should check. One thing, though. If you find a place, you will still need a parental authorisation to present when you arrive.

Just turn up and check in at a hostel or something. I'm sure no ones going to turn you away if you have money, especially if you have nowhere else to go. They probably wont even ask your age. I mean, have you ever tried to order alcohol in Europe? I bought beers for my parents from the bar since I was 7. It's Europe. Come on haha.
