Euro DIsney, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower. A little out in the suburbs of Paris is the Palace of Versailles which is well worth visiting.

You don't mention the ages of your children or when you plan to visit. I would not subject small children to the long lines at places like the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. You can sit on the steps opposite the tower and watch (free) a spectacular show of lights. Also I am sure the whole family would enjoy the many mouches boats on the Seine. At Versailles, there are thousands of visitors attempting to enter the chateau. However, you can take the open trams around most of the area and enjoy the views of the gardens. One of the places, we love there, is Marie Antoinette's mansion. (No big lines). Paris is a very BUSY city and it always gives the impression that there are no really quiet places. The metro, especially in rush hours is awesome. In time you will find those special quiet oases. The whole Bois de Boulogne is wonderful and very children friendly.
