What are your favourite ways of exercising with your pet?

Hi, I used to have dogs that I would take to the park like any other dog owner, but what I really love is exercising with my parrot. I used to have this adorable and super smart yellow collared macaw named Skipper (who sadly died, *sniff*)and he would literally follow me everywhere. I never put him in a cage for the nighttime and let him out a few hours in the day for exercise, I just let him out the whole time, and he knows the places pretty well, so he never gets into trouble. With so many places he could go and games we could play we never thought it as "exercise for him", we just thought it as games. First of all, with him flying all around the places, climbing around on furniture and people too, it's almost enough exercise for a day. But one of the things Skipper loved was teasing our two dogs, Dodo and Coco. He could whistle to call the dogs over, outsmart the two pooches, and say things like "doggy treat", "good boy", "stay", etc., to fool the dogs, and it was pretty funny watching the two dogs obeying orders from a little parrot. One of Skippers favorites was "turn around", and he would watch the dogs spin around, sometimes even joining in! Well since the dogs and Skipper are all pretty friendly to each other and never gets into those "dog and bird" fights, it's alright and I don't worry too much. Skipper likes to take rides on my shoulder to the park, then he would perch on a branch resting, playing through the trees, curious for squirrels and rabbits or ducks, and watching the dog walkers walk by with their dogs, while I would chat with my friends (while keeping an eye on him of course). He's pretty cautious and doesn't run into things too quickly so he doesn't cause me too much worry. And it's really a great feeling, playing fetch, tricks or showing off your parrot to the crowds because of all the dogs people usually see, there isn't always a parrot walker coming by. One of the most ironic times was when a persons dog suddenly stopped while walking with its owner. No one knew why, the owner didnt call a command, but when I finally heard "stay" from a familiar voice, I knew it was Skipper fooling with the dog. Well after that Skipper almost lost a leg from a dog bite, so I was more careful about his games, but surely no one saw that coming. We also exercise in ways by playing games. We play "fetch", "bam!(which is him shrieking and falling down after me imitating a gun shot)", "basketball tournament" and practice other tricks too. Skipper has always filled boring strolls to the park much more interesting and making days at home alone more fun and I completely owe it all to that fun loving, curious little macaw. Rest in peace my sweet little Skipper. ;)
