Is there a good youth hostel in Montpellier or Marseille, France?

Montpellier: Hotel Prime 41 rooms. The reception closed at 10 pm. The reservation will be kept until 7 pm. Marseille on the other hand is a lot more 'lively'... so it depends on what you're looking for. The only thing about the Marseille hostels is that they don't sound much like hostels, and the first one is tiny at 7 rooms - perhaps an idea to just get a special deal for a centrally located hotel and head out to find people to hook up with?

France is a rather indifferent place towards foreiners, so don't waqnder off to far. I would go to Marseille out of the two, it seems more welcoming.

i think all youth hostles are about the same i mean there not great but its cheap enough to spend the night and get some food so i mean i dont think there are really bad ones nor are there GREAT one there all like meh
