    I went in September and October. I loved this time of year. The weather was nice and there weren't very many other tourists about. That was lovely because areas that are usually overcrowded with tourist were a lot more accessible. It was also a lot less expensive to travel during that time than it would have been in "high season". It was also a lot easier to blend with locals and see things that most tourists overlook.

The best time is around may-july. But the only problem witht hat is the tickets are expensive. But most deifntly thats the best time. Take it from me im european

Paris is year-round an ok time. Summer it's just too crowded with tourists and you have to endure long lines. winter is a bit cold but it's ok. The best time, personally, would be fall, seeing that transition from summer to winter with all the vegetation along the seine and in the parks (luco, monceau, etc), people beginning to dress up for the cold (although still very moderate, around 12-15 degrees), the cafes' chairs still out on the streets but without the annoying sun or the huge crowds of guided tours.
