Do you still need to have a visa to Brazil?

I am a US citizen, I also have citizenship in Brazil, do I need a Visa to go back to Brazil?

If you are a Brazilian citizen of course you don't need to visa to enter Brazil. You can go and leave at any time you desire. However if you really want to make sure, contact one of the offices of the Policia Federal: www.dpf.gov.br or contact one of Brazilian consulates in the USA.

All you would need to do is keep your passport current. For example, my Brazilian passport expires in 2009 so I'll need to renew it in order to move from Brasil to US the fastest. Its waaaay easier to get in and out with your Brazilian passport than with an immigrant one. Hope this helped. :)

If you have a Brazilian passport, they actually require you to use it instead of your other one. I guess they really don't want their citizens wasting money on visa fees.
