How do i prepare for 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil?

If i were you, I would take portuguese classes right now, cause here in Brazil people usually don't speak english neither knows to say Hi.

Same here man! Most all bars in Brazil cast the football games, football is Brazil's national past time. Its like religion, its going to be held in Rio de Janeiro & Sao Paulo most likely. And finding a cheap hotel there is hard but not impossible. A lot of there hotels are very nice. But the cheapest I could find was Copacabana Rio Hotel its a 3 star hotel and its R$195.00 I don't know if that's per night but its still pretty good (to me).

I go to the pantry, because I live in Salvador and the canopy will be there. Beware the slums! Do not enter the slum, otherwise you will get shot by traffickers kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Ok . Thank god i'm brazilian ! If you want to come here , at first - MONEY . 1 dollar = +- 1,72 brazilian real . You need to buy a ticket on www.tam.com.br . Its an air company . Second , its a world cup , everything will be so much more expensive . There are so many hotels with a low price at São Paulo , Rio de Janeiro , or Brasilia . Of course you will watch the game in the hotel duh ! There are a tv on the suit ! Ok , now you're on brazil .

It is so soon, I would say the first thing you can do if you do want to learn our language, is start taking Portuguese classes...by the time the cup comes you will be doing very well with the language if you stick with it :)

Don't worry in a couple weeks, you will have forgotten about it, let alone a year will have no interest in going. Just a idea fad.
