How can I erase search suggestions of Yahoo search?

When you are searching on the yahoo search engine,(web search) how do you erase your tracks? it remains there.

    This question has been asked a few times & so here is my same answer: BROWSER 1. In Microsoft Internet Explorer browser click on 'Tools' 2. Choose 'Internet Options' 3. Choose the 'Content' tab 4. Click on the 'Autocomplete' button 5. Click on the 'Clear Forms' button If you wish to prevent the search bar saving your search history in future then in step 5 also uncheck the 'Forms' box by clicking on the 'x'. YAHOO! TOOLBAR If you want to clear the Yahoo! toolbar search: 1. Click on the Pencil Menu left of the search bar 2. Choose 'Clear Search History' If you want to prevent it saving your search history in future: 1. Click on the Pencil Menu left of the search bar 2. Choose 'Toolbar Option' 3. Uncheck 'Enable Search History' by clicking on the 'x' 4. Click 'ok' You will notice that the drop down arrow to the right of the search bar disappears. DELETE HISTORY: Click on the 'Tools' menu Choose 'Internet Options' You will see buttons to 'Clean History', Delete Cookies', and Delete Temporary Internet Files'. CLEANER: You might want this. If you just want to clear searches on Yahoo or Google Home Page or any other Yahoo or Google page, double click the search box, this will make a menu drop down with your searches, put your cursor on what you want to delete to highlight it, hit the delete button on your keyboard. If you want to delete everything just hold the delete button down until everything is deleted. To clear searches on Yahoo Toolbar, click the pencil icon beside the search box, a menu will drop down, click Clear Recent Searches. If you want to stop saving recent searches, click Toolbar Options and uncheck "Enable Search History", or check "Auto-clear Search History when quitting IE" to clear history when you close your Internet connection. To clear searches on Google toolbar, click "Google" on the left of the search box, a menu will drop down, click Clear Search History. To stop saving searches click options, click search tab and check or uncheck to configure your search box.

Go to the search site, and click in the box like you were going to type, push the down arrow key and a drop down menu will drop down with everything you searched that site for, highlight one in the list and push delete. (not backspace)
